Tuesday 11-17-09: Class was cancelled in the morning, so I spent the day doing IT and skyping with family. =D I am starting to miss living at home with my family, so it was a good time catching up with my mom. ^_^
Paddy was wonderful again. I really enjoy the time we spend with students in this circle, and I learn a lot about what Japanese students think about various topics. I pray that I use the time wisely and really give a good testimony of my life to the people I meet. =)
Wednesday 11:18:09: We went bright and early to Waseda campus so we can start passing out the Christmas CDs! ^__^ Maria, Lyndsey, Lillian, Yusuke, and I wore Santa hats or Santa costumes and passed out many CDs to the students as they went through the quad. It was fun to work with Yusuke, as he was super enthusiastic about passing the CDs to students. He just won’t take “no” for an answer, and many times people would take a CD from him even if they just denied it from me. hahaha I think we passed out 500+ CDs, and perhaps have about 11,000 CDs left to go. o_O
Hung out with Masa at 3pm after CD passing, and talked with him and Maria for an hour. Then went home, cooked dinner, and went to the west side guys apartment for Bible study. We usually spend more time discussing theological issues than really studying the Bible, but it is still a good time of bonding with the team. =)
Thursday 11/19/09: Woke up early so I can make it to Waseda’s 10:15 prayer walk. However, it was raining and I forgot my umbrella (my super cool traditional Japanese one) so I had to buy one from the AMPM (my 6th umbrella). ^^;; We prayed for an hour, then I met up with Kyohei, a Waseda student that I met in UC Davis 2 years ago! It was really fun to be able to catch up with him and see what he is doing now. (Wah. I just remembered I forgot to take a picture with him! O_O *sigh* next time….) After lunch, we went back to the main cafeteria and introduced him to the other student impact people. =)
At 2, we had our east side stint meeting, where it was decided that I would be coleading the Waseda lunch times. At 2:30, Masa joined us and we planned more hangouts with him. Then at 3, I went over to the station to pick up Yu. She’s sooo sweet. She’s actually a Sophia student but she really wanted to hang out with us so she went over to Waseda for the first time to be able to spend time with us! Soo cute! ^__^ We all hung out for 2 hours in the cafeteria eating dessert and talking about good Japanese music and movies. =)
On the way home, I saw tangerines(mikan) for sale. 20 for $2. O_O So I bought a bunch, and had about 70 mikans in my room last night. hahahhaa…. xD
Impact meeting was fun as usual. However, there is an unpleasant thing in the meeting now, as there is a student who loves tickling me every few minutes. >_>

crazy west side. hahaha (if you didn't notice, yes, I am being tickled)
Friday 11.20.09: Sophia Uni day! =) Woke up, finished laundry, then went over to Sophia for the English small group lunch. I forgot my jacket at home, as it was warm in the morning as I was doing laundry, so by the time I was in Sophia, I was freezing. So after lunch, I went and bought a Sophia sweatshirt. xD its so nice and cheap! ^__^ Then I hung out with Nobu joined Maria’s group with Rima and Yu. It was fun, and tomorrow I will be hanging out with Yu, Maria, and Serina for shopping in Shinjuku for winter clothing. =)
Midtown impact meeting was good. The microphone isn’t working like usual, so I didn’t really get to hear the message. =/ At the McDonalds aftermeeting, I had a McChicken with 2 extra chicken patties stuffed inside. XD
Prayer Requests:
1. For us on the team to be diligent in preparing the soil and sowing many many seeds into the contacts we have
2. For wisdom in seeing how to sow more broadly
3. For people to listen to the Christmas CDs and to read the gospel message inside =)
